Today I recieved a new contract for Beyond the Green Door. It has been hotted up , and two new scenes added. If you like a nice hot read but still a moving tale(that is tale NOT tail) :-)

You might enjoy this one. It is an Urban Fantasy Erotic Romance with a twist.

I will be writting these NEW EROTICA NOVELLAS under the name of JEWEL D'ARCY so as not to mix them up with my,  sensual Fantasy /Witch/ Vampire romance novels

This 10,000 + word Novella will be released 17th November 2011 by Noble Romance Publishing LLC. :-)

Advertising your Books

A lot of this is for print books but some can be used for electronic format books as well.

Set up a web page with the cover of your book as soon as you get it, post interesting articles, and excerpts from your book/s.  Run a competition once a month, so people will return.

Run a blog on your webpage or seperate. There are a lot of free Blog hosting sites out there.

Make up your business cards or postcards and leave them around and give them out/ link to where you can buy your book.

Have a video trailer made of your book and load it to Utube and your webpage.

Put the link to your book seller and video on the bottom of your email's along with name and release date of your book and link to book sellers.

Do a monthly magazine and get people interested in subscribing, here you tell people about your book, as well as give writing tips and any other feature that might interest your readers.

Closer to release date, ask your local paper to put a piece in the paper about you and give website link to where can buy your book.

Join yahoo writing groups and make at least one day I can spend telling people about your book.

Take out a joint add with someone else in romantic times, or other magazines with a cover picture and link to your book.

Talk about your book on Facebook etc.

If your publisher (if you have one) runs a launch day on the net, invite as many family and friends to participate as you can, and perhaps give away a copy of your ebook if allowable.

When my book goes to print, organise a book launch in my home town.

Be careful of what books you buy

I just joined the Kindle forum on Amazon. Most of it is just advertising their books. I am sure there must be other better ways to get the word out about your work. I will be delving into this more over the next week.

Also, I would suggest, buy from authors you have heard of or read, when buying Kindle or electronic.

I have downloaded 2 books now which, I am a little disappointed with.

I am not saying buy the NY published authors. NO WAY. Most of their work is very stero typed. But stick to books by authors you have read before and by publishers on the net you have heard of. I will be posting a list of these in the near future.

Unfortunatly I have decided not to go with MoonGypsy Press for Whisper of Yesterday and will be looking for a publisher a little closer to home for this one next year.

However if you have not read or puchased a copy of my 2 NEW novels Darkness I Weep(vampire romance) oR The Cross of Tarlis(Fantasy Heric Romance) these 2 books can be found at B&N , Amazon, And www.moongypsypress.com

I am currently doing quite a lot of work making book covers for Damnation Books and Freelance

Cheers
