Format: Kindle Edition I've read several of the stories now and I am enjoying the variety of each. Kathleen Ball did a spectacular job with Meg and Luke's story. My favorite story so far is Hebby Roman's "Border Affair". Even though I've never been to that part of the country, Hebby brings it alive in her detailed story line. I can easily visualize the scenes, especially those hot love scenes, and put myself in the book with them. As a reader, I love that. I love feeling like part of the story. Hebby does a phenominal job of it!

I can't wait to read the rest of the stories and see what the other authors have to offer. A few are familiar to me but there are several new faces/names for me to check out. Horse trainers, real estate millionaire, firefighters, bronco busters, shapeshifters and wealthy ranchers - what makes this collection absolutely worth reading is that there is something for everyone!

This anthology offers a wide variety of cowboy stories. From ranchers to shifters and back to rodeo cowboys and the women who love them this has just what cowboy lovers, well, love!! The books are well written, characters are vibrant and the stories are good,

1-Luke’s Fate by Kathleen Ball I enjoyed this ride through this love story with a twist. The characters are allowed to grow as they make their way back to each other. There are so many questions and obstacles it looks at times, hopeless. But where there is love there is hope- right? Being set on a working ranch, added authenticity. A western romance with some twists and mystery, this book is for the cowboy lover.

2-Grant Me the Moon by Caroline Clemmons From the first pages I was swept away by this sweet romance and murder mystery. The characters are multidimensional and straight forward. I love that the intrigue is from the mystery and murder and not the love story. When problems come up the characters actually talk through it. Great book.

3-Three for the Win by Keta Diablo I enjoyed this love triangle with a difference. I fell a little in love with Stede but I fell hard in love with Eli. The story had some twists and turns to keep you guessing and a heart breaking, bittersweet ending. There were a few loose ends that could have been tied up for a more complete ending but over-all, worth the read.

4- Border Affair by Hebby Roman This was a fun, quick read with some heat and intrigue. The characters were well done and likable. The heat factor was elevated. It was a satisfying read that kept my interest throughout.

5- Leaving Necessity by Margo Bond Collins I thought this was a wonderful story about second chances. The characters were believable and likable. The writing is good, too. I rooted for these characters all the way.

6- The Shape of Destiny by Julie A. D’Arcy What a fun story!! I enjoyed the change up to a shapeshifter romance. Full of good characters and I loved Cole, especially. The story-line was different and much enjoyed. I loved Shannon, too even though she had a hard time believing!

7- Bad Boy, Big Heart by Andrea Downing I loved this story. The backdrop of the Tetons made it extra special. Chay was to die for and K.C. was a great match. The writing is crisp and no nonsense. The story is really good. I was sorry when the story ended since I wanted to know more about these characters.

8- Desert Heat by Patti Sherry-Crews This story had me on the edge of my seat. First, I rooted for Angel to accept Boone, then I prayed she hadn’t waited too long. The characters were well done and I loved not just the main characters but the minor ones, too. I would love to see more of these characters. The writing is top-notch. This was the perfect book to complete the anthology.

I really liked the variety in this anthology. The stories, while following the cowboy theme, were not cookie cutter copies of each other. That made this book that much more enjoyable. And the best part, each story has a HEA! Kudos to the authors!

Luke’s Fate by Kathleen Ball
****Years ago Meg O’Brien had her heart broken by one Luke Kelly. As a result, she hoped never to see him again. She was doing just fine with this plan until that day when an unexpected event made her plan go completely awry. — ‘Her big, hunky hero was a ghost of his former self, and the gauntness of his face was just the beginning.’ “Luke?” she whispered.— What follows is a romance wrapped in intrigue, suspense, and mystery that you won’t be able to put down until you’ve read the last word.

Grant Me The Moon by Caroline Clemmons
****When Tory Fraser knocks on the door of the Grayson Ranch, she assumes the owners are elderly. However, much to her surprise, the door is answered by “the equivlent of a GQ-goes-western” hunk with sky-blue eyes. And that’s just the beginning. Caroline Clemmons has wonderful woven together suspense, romance, and a touch of humor and history that is pure enjoyment to read.

Three for The Win by Keta Diablo
****This was a great story, especially if you love a story with romance, surprises, twists and turns, pain and anguish. Trust me when I say this one is for you. Read it and weep….Literally.

Border Affair by Hebby Roman
****A longtime crush + a family friend = a seemingly impossible situation.
A mutual attraction + a kidnapping = a seemingly possible situation.
Such is the story of Camila Villarreal and Rusty Douglas. Their story will take you through some ups, downs, romance, suspense, and surprises that results in some seemingly impossible situations which end in a seemingly possible situation.

Leaving Necessity by Margo Bond Collins
****Clara is all business. She’s back in her home town to bury her uncle, clean up, take care of business, and get outta Dodge, or rather Necessity, TX, ASAP. It was a great plan until the reading of her uncle’s will. And that’s where Mitchell “Mac” MacAllan comes into the picture. What happens when these two end up together again after all of these years is an absolutely delightful read.

The Shape of Destiny by Julie A. D’Arcy
****Ok, let me just begin by saying that I have NEVER EVER read a shape shifter romance, and neither have I ever had the desire to read one. Sooo, when I realized this was the genre of The Shape of Destiny, I really didn’t know what to expect or how I’d react. Well, surprise, surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Author Julie A. D’Arcy blends romance, suspense, and the paranormal in a way that even a newbie like me could appreciate and enjoy. The Shape of Destiny has definitely made me want to explore this genre further.

Bad Boy, Big Heart by Andrea Downing
****What do you do when the guy everyone has warned you about is one of the most handsome men you’ve ever laid eyes on? What do you do when you find yourself in a dangerous situation because appearances aren’t what they seem? What do you do when you realize you’ve found that special someone, but the clock tells you you’re running out of time? K.C. faces all of these questions. How she and Chay overcome each obstacle is an exciting, suspenseful, fun, and romantic read that is just pure enjoyment. I loved the interactions between the two characters and how author Andrea Downing so skillfully takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride right along with the characters. The result is a fun, romantic, suspenseful story that you’re sure to enjoy.

Desert Heat by Patti Sherry-Crews
****One sure clue that I’m going to love a story is when I come across a main character that I just want to smack upside the head and knock some sense into. Such is the case with Angel Harper. Yes, she didn’t have the best situation going on. Yes, she had to work hard to overcome some difficulties caused by her loser ex-husband. But, when fate lands one handsome, considerate hunk, aka Boon Donovan, right in your lap….it’s time to give up your past pain and your stubborn streak in order to give yourself another chance at love and happiness.

*****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and viewpoints are my own. This is a contemporary romance collection which I recommend for readers aged 18+.
